The same day Samya Stumo’s parents were testifying to Congress about the Boeing 737 Max Crash, the company a $50 million to help victims’ families, which the Stumos saw as a transparent attempt to preempt the hearings.

Southwest and American plan to restart flying the Boeing 737 Max in March, a year after Michael Stumo’s daughter Samya was among the 157 killed aboard Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302. His family wants answers: “My whole life now is Boeing.”

The family of Samya Stumo — the 24-year-old among 157 people killed in the Ethiopian Airlines plane crash — is pushing back on Boeing to prevent another crash.

“Those who made decisions that killed our families should not be making decisions now,” says Michael Stumo whose 24 year old daughter Samya died in Boeing crash.
