Last week, Austin closed Red Bud Isle as a precaution after three dogs swam in the lake and died.

Three dog owners are mourning the loss of their beloved pets who died after swimming near Red Bud Isle. @austintexasgov  officials released test results Friday confirming the low-level presence of a neurotoxin in algae there. @Gingemoney  reports:

The toxin appears to be localized to the algae near Red Bud Isle so @austintexasgov  says the area remains closed and signs were posted Sunday evening to warn pet owners.
