Delhi High Court Monday sought response of accused-turned-approver Rajiv Saxena on a plea by the Enforcement Directorate challenging the bail granted to him in the Rs 3,600-crore VVIP chopper deal scam

AgustaWestland case: Delhi High Court has issued notice to accused-turned-approver Rajiv Saxena on the Enforcement Directorate petition challenging trial court order, which had refused to cancel his bail and revoke his approver status. The next date of hearing is June 3.

Lawyers of Rajiv Saxena (co-accused in AgustaWestland case): When his lawyers asked to speak to UAE state security & demanded to understand what happened, they were told he's on flight & can’t be stopped. When they queried this further they were told “Ask the Indian Government”.

AgustaWestland scam accused Rajiv Saxena to record his statement before Delhi's Patiala House Court's Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Samar Vishal. Rajiv Saxena had moved application in Delhi's Patiala House Court to become an approver in the case.

Enforcement Directorate Sources: Two separate teams of Enforcement Directorate are questioning Rajiv Saxena and Deepak Talwar at separate locations. They were extradited to India and were arrested by ED at 2 am, last night.
