Sonos, Popsockets, Basecamp, and Tile are testifying about Google and Amazon at a field hearing in Colorado today.

David Barnett, CEO and founder of PopSockets, is up next to talk about two problems with Amazon: counterfeiting and "bullying" by the platform. "We never felt like we had a genuine partnership with Amazon."

@Patrick_Spence  At one point PopSockets was telling Amazon about 1000 fake products a day, with no recourse. At the same time, Amazon was lowering the prices it was charging consumers, and then demanding payment from PopSockets for the lost margin, even though the contract had a set price in it.

Next up, PopSockets CEO David Barnett, who's talking about Amazon selling counterfeits and "bullying" his company.

Rep Cicilline asks about Bezos saying Amazon helps third party sellers. Barnett laughs at this. "PopSockets is banned from that marketplace because Amazon retail wants a relationship with us."
