The US Food and Drug Administration has warned leading e-cigarette maker Juul Labs about illegally marketing its product as a safer alternative to cigarettes.
The FDA has issued a warning letter to Juul over its marketing practices. The U.S. government agency says Juul's labelling and advertising can lead consumers to believe its e-cigarettes present a lower risk than other tobacco products. Excerpt from warning letter:
