A meaningful NO to Iran’s dictator, who repeatedly urged ppl to vote: Today, millions of Iranians refused to go to the polls, and did not participate in one of the highly engineered/manipulated elections since 1979. Reports confirm one of the lowest turn outs! #IranElections2020

@RStatecraft  58 million Iranians are eligible to vote. Participation was low (%40+) compared to past elections. Urban middle class boycotted to send a message of discontent to the establishment. But in small cities and rural areas more people vote based on local issues vs national politics.

@RStatecraft  Supreme Leader called the election a national celebration and a day for Iranians to use their right to participate in governing their country. He called voting a religious duty, asked Iranians to participate in elections in big numbers and vote early.

@RStatecraft  Islamic Republic held this election after 2 recent crises that outraged many Iranians: Nationwide anti-government protests in November where 100s were killed by security forces and 1000s arrested, then shooting-down of Ukrainian plane by IRGC in January that killed 176 civilians

Weird how the same people who gawped at the Soleimani funeral crowds and blamed Trump for Iran shooting down a civilian airliner are now silent about the Iranians protesting the regime. Almost as though their agenda has nothing to do with the aspirations of the Iranian people.

Just out that the Obama Administration granted citizenship, during the terrible Iran Deal negotiation, to 2,500 Iranians - including to government officials. How big (and bad) is that?

It turns out plenty of Iranians loathed Soleimani, opposed the terrorism he spread, and don’t like the regime lying to them about shooting down a passenger plane. And they’re risking quite a bit by protesting publicly —

The Iranians attack our embassy and Tehran Nancy seeks to limit the president’s ability to defend Americans.

Seems like my recent tweet—retweeted by President Trump—drew an irascible response from Chuck Schumer. My point was that Trump can no more trust the Dems & the media with advance notice of an attack than he can trust the Iranians themselves

Just remember, the Iranians never won a war, but never lost a negotiation!

Neither were the Iranians, and for pretty much the same reason

Mark Levin “When they had power they didn’t stop the Russians, the Chinese, the North Koreans, they funded the Iranians & are responsible for the greatest scandal in American history by interfering with our election & trying to undermine the Trump Campaign and Trump Presidency.”
