At least 24 people were killed in Himachal Pradesh and three people died in Punjab in rain-related incidents on Sunday as the two states received rainfall over ten times more than normal, officials said.

Being in Himachal Pradesh is a delight. My mind goes back to the time I spent in the state working for the BJP Organisation. During the rally in Mandi, spoke at length about the NDA’s work in infrastructure, ‘Ease of Living’ and steps to strengthen national security.

Delighted to have got the opportunity to interact with the people of Solan and surrounding areas. Across Himachal Pradesh, the mood is in favour of BJP. Spoke about NDA Government’s work in infrastructure, connectivity and how it benefits citizens.

In Shimla, relished coffee at the Indian Coffee House and reminisced old days. The coffee tastes as good as it did two decades ago, when I would frequent Himachal for party work.

I bow to the people of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh for their affection and trust in BJP. I assure them that we will leave no stone unturned in furthering the development journey of these states and serve the people tirelessly.

Election results in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh indicate a strong support for politics of good governance and development. I salute the hardworking BJP Karyakartas in these states for their hardwork which has led to these impressive victories.
