Correction: The Nova Scotia police officer who found a missing 3-year-old girl on Monday is a member of the Halifax Regional Police, not the RCMP.

Halifax Regional Police say they have issued 12 tickets for violations of the Health Protection Act and Emergency Management Act, bringing the total to 151 since the Province declared a state of emergency #NovaScotia

#BREAKING : Nova Scotia has activated its emergency alert system as police respond to multiple unconfirmed reports of shots fired in the Halifax regional municipality.

FYI: Halifax Police Services are delivered through an integrated policing model with the Halifax Regional Police (HRP) and RCMP – Halifax District responsible for specific areas within the municipality. This policing model facilitates mutual assistance and coordinated response.

JUST IN: Halifax Regional Police say they have issued an additional 32 tickets for violations of the Health Protection Act and Emergency Management Act, bringing the total to 110 since the state of emergency was declared #NovaScotia 

Easter Weekend COVID-19 self-isolation/distancing police stats (since Thursday last week): - 32 tickets handed out by Halifax Regional Police - 38 tickets handed out province-wide by Nova Scotia RCMP (Each ticket carries a fine of $697.50-$1000.)

Halifax Regional Police & Halifax fire have just arrived at the Cunard Centre to take part in today’s funeral for the #Barho  children.

Police have confirmed multiple fatalities in an overnight house fire in Spryfield, within the Halifax Regional Municipality. Two adults were taken from the residence with injuries as crews fought the blaze:
