Beyond handshakes and ripped speeches, don’t miss that Trump overtly appealed for the Black vote last night. He talked about Tuskegee, civil rights, MLK, school choice, and HBCUs. Trump in 2016 won twice as much of the black vote that McCain did. He wants double digits in 2020.

The “Rich Paul Rule” is racist. So what are Black people & athletes going to do about it? While I didn’t go to an HBCU, my parents & many other family members & colleagues did. Already an integral part of Black empowerment, HBCUs could become MUCH stronger!

The average HBCU graduate has $29,000 in student debt. It's time to fully fund HBCUs, reduce the outrageous burden of student debt weighing down the lives of millions of Americans and ensure everyone can get a higher education regardless of their family's income.

We will cancel student debt. We will make public colleges and universities tuition-free. We will make historic investments to strengthen and support HBCUs and MSIs. Join us live at Morehouse College:
