Virginia is about to take a giant step forward by becoming the 38th state to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment. Today I sponsored a resolution to make sure this fight for women’s equality will finally be fully and expressly recognized in our Constitution. #VAratifyERA 

Today, while we were watching the #TrumpImpeachment  unfold something historic happened in the @HouseJudDems . They PASSED a resolution to help ratify the Equal Rights Amendment!!!! Women are one step closer to having our rights enshrined in the constitution. #ERANow 

The Equal Rights Amendment would give women protections in the constitution. Think of how different this time would be if we had the ERA. We need 1 MORE STATE to get to the 38 states needed to ratify. Who’s going to put women in the constitution? Virginia? Arizona? Florida?

I asked for a meeting with today—to discuss equality for women and the Equal Rights Amendment—he declined. 96% of Americans believe that women should be protected under the constitution. He is the 4%. #ERANow 

Breaking! ILLINOIS JUST RATIFIED THE EQUAL RIGHTS AMENDMENT. We now have 37 states that have ratified the ERA. 1 more to go. #ERANOW  #MeToo 

38 states are needed to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment for women. 36 have already voted YES! We only need 2 more. C’mon! What’s wrong with you Illinois? Virginia? Florida? We can do this. WE ARE THE MAJORITY. All running 4 office in 2018 must be asked: “Do u support the ERA?”
