Ceremonial Border Personnel Meeting (BPM) held between the Indian Army and Chinese PLA today on the occasion of #Diwali  at the Indian BPM Huts at Chushul– Moldo and DBO-TWD meeting points of Eastern Ladakh.

The #Siachen  glacier is “now open“ for tourists and tourism, Defence Minister#RajnathSingh  said after inaugurating a strategically important bridge on the Shyok river in eastern Ladakh.

Strategically Important ‘Col Chewang Rinchen Setu’, a bridge built by Border Roads Organisation over River Shyok, connecting Durbuk and Daulat Beg Oldie in Eastern Ladakh, was inaugurated by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today.

Col Chewang Rinchen Bridge built between Durbuk&Daulat Beg Oldie to be inaugurated by Defence Minister on Oct21 in Eastern Ladakh. It'll reduce travel time by about half & help in development of border areas&villages across Shyok River. It's 45 kms east of Line of Actual Control.
