When a president commits a grave abuse of the public trust by running roughshod over the high office of president, then Congress is left with no choice but to do its duty to protect the public and the Republic from clear and present danger. We must impeach this president.
They did it again. This afternoon at 4:45, Democrats said Republicans must submit amendments to their ridiculous impeachment articles by 7 TONIGHT. If this is our most serious duty in Congress, why has every single step of this process been a complete sham?
As the President of the United States, I have an absolute right, perhaps even a duty, to investigate, or have investigated, CORRUPTION, and that would include asking, or suggesting, other Countries to help us out!
I understand why Trump doesn’t want more witnesses testifying. But I can’t understand why my GOP colleagues are enabling his obstruction. Where is their duty to this institution? Where is their duty to the Constitution? Where is their respect for the rule of law?
Today, we come together as one Nation to salute the Veterans of the United States Armed Forces – the greatest warriors ever to walk on the face of the Earth. Our Veterans risked everything for us. Now, it is our duty to serve and protect THEM every day of our lives!
Mr. President, I go home to my district daily. Each morning, I wake up, and I go and fight for my neighbors. It is my constitutional duty to conduct oversight of the Executive Branch. But, it is my moral duty to fight for my constituents.
