River Rouge embraces legal weed, opens first recreational shop in metro Detroit

Officials with Michigan EGLE were back on the Detroit River assessing the runoff of aggregate from a site owned by Revere Dock and Detroit Bulk Storage.

The contaminated sediment is within the Detroit River Area of Concern (AOC). The United States and Canada has identified it as one of 43 toxic hotspots in the Great Lakes basin.
