No book will ever take the place of Claudia Roden’s Book of Jewish Food in my heart, but I am enjoying The Jewish Cookbook by Leah Konig very much indeed. Earmarked to try first: Alon Shaya’s Schmaltzy Cornbread with Aleppo Pepper; but so much beckons.
