Army Chief General Bipin Rawat meets #Japan  Self-Defense Forces Joint Staff, Chief of Staff, General Koji Yamazaki and Defence Minister Taro Kono and discusses issues of mutual interests.

Japan: Army Chief General Bipin Rawat called on the Minister of Defence of Japan, Taro Kono at the Ministry of Defence and General Koji Yamazaki, Chief of Staff, Joint staff, JSDF.

Army Chief General Bipin Rawat visited 34 Infantry Regiment at Itazuma, Japan, today. The Regiment had participated in the bilateral Exercise 'Dharma Guardian'. He interacted with Col Mitsuo Fukada and witnessed Close Quarter Battle and Room Intervention drills by the regiment.

Army Chief General Bipin Rawat was accorded a ceremonial welcome and presented with a Guard of Honour on arrival at Ministry of Defence, Japan. General Rawat had an interaction with General Goro Yuasa, Chief of Staff of Japan Ground Self Defence Force

Army Chief General Bipin Rawat will embark on an official visit to Japan from 3 to 6 December. During the visit, the Army Chief led delegation will interact with the seniors of the Japan Self Defence Force. (file pic)
