Interesting plot twist: #MNTwins  called up right-hander Jorge Alcala, who was moved from Double-A to Triple-A and shifted to the bullpen alongside Brusdar Graterol last month. Alcala, who came over from the Astros as part of the Ryan Pressly trade, has an upper-90s fastball.

#MNTwins top pitching prospect Brusdar Graterol, a career-long starter, closed out the game for Double-A Pensacola tonight with 1.1 scoreless innings. Lots of speculation recently that the Twins could call up the 20-year-old flame-thrower for bullpen help. That'll get louder now.

Twins prospect Brusdar Graterol, the only 20-year-old starting pitcher in the entire Double-A Southern League, is 5-0 with a 1.69 ERA and .170 batting average against in 43 innings. He's faced hitters older than him in 97% of his plate appearances, holding them to .162/.265/.232.
