Laurel Griggs, a child star who performed on Broadway, has died at just 13 years old, CBS New York reports. Griggs died on Tuesday after suffering an asthma attack while at with her parents in Manhattan, according to her grandfather David Rivlin.

The Manhattan blackout hit about an hour before curtain for most Broadway shows. But at some theaters, the show went on – just outdoors instead. On sidewalks outside theaters, patrons were treated to brief impromptu songs and blackout-themed performances.
Large swaths of Manhattan were plunged into darkness Saturday night following a massive power outage. The blackout, which left tens of thousands of customers in the dark, brought Broadway shows to a halt and left people trapped in subway cars.
