UPDATE: Restoration work is progressing on Thomas Point Shoal lighthouse, a last-of-its-kind Chesapeake Bay lighthouse built in 1875 off the shore of Annapolis. But more money is needed to get the job done.

Before going any further today, I want to address the horrific shooting that took place yesterday at the Capital Gazette newsroom in Annapolis, Maryland. This attack shocked the conscience of our Nation, and filled our hearts with grief...

Prior to departing Wisconsin, I was briefed on the shooting at Capital Gazette in Annapolis, Maryland. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families. Thank you to all of the First Responders who are currently on the scene.

"Can you please talk to us about the dead reporters in Annapolis?" “Do you have any words of condolence for the families, Mr. President?” "Why are you walking away?" Pres. Trump does not comment when asked about the deadly Maryland newsroom shooting.

Just 22 days ago, five members of the media were murdered while working at the Capitol Gazette in Annapolis, Maryland. Today, called the media, “the real enemy of the people.” Donald, you are absolutely despicable.
