🚸The Countess was told about @SeeAbility research which found that half of children in SEN schools will have a problem with their vision, yet 44% of them have no eye care history. And the problem has grown during the pandemic, with global rates of shortsightedness on the rise.
👁🗨The Countess’s visit is in support of #LoveYourEyes campaign, which has seen 3 million people commit to having their eyes tested globally. HRH is passionate about ending avoidable blindness and has seen the difference organisations such as @IAPB1 & @qejubileetrust can make.
🌎 🏰 This evening The Queen hosted a reception at Windsor Castle to mark the Global Investment Summit. 🤝 She was joined by The Prince of Wales, The Duke of Cambridge and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester as she welcomed influential business leaders from around the world.
It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.
The Queen speaks of light overcoming darkness, and the hope that Easter symbolises, in a special message recorded to mark the Easter weekend.
